Call times......

With the early game time of 6:45 Friday, call time will be adjusted slightly. 5:30, IN UNIFORM on the practice field please!

Call time for Northwestern is 8:15 AM in Uniform!!!!!  Students will take home uniforms Friday night.  Please make sure they don't end up in a pile on the floor....not as if our kids would do something like that!  :)

Thank you to all the jazz band parents! We have record numbers this year, and your students are making my life difficult trying to audition based on the exceptional talent!!!!

Parents & Students,

  Welcome back to the 2017-2018 school year!  Our calendar has been updated and is posted on the right side of this screen.  (I'm working on getting to appear as an agenda....if you click agenda, its music easier to manage!)

  Our next event is rehearsal at 6:30 on August 23rd.  Please be on time ready to begin at the call time!

Itinerary for Friday May 5th - SuperState

SUPERSTATE ITINERARY – May 5^th, 2017

12:00 PM             Pack up buses

12:30 PM             Depart WHS

3:00 PM               Arrive at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts (Urbana, IL)

3:15 PM               Warmup time in Krannert

4:15 PM               PERFORMANCE

4:45 PM               Load Buses / Change / Walk as a group to dinner

6:00 PM               Dinner at Rosati’s in Urbana (Covered by WHS Band Boosters)

6:45 PM               Back on buses and depart for WHS

9:00 PM               Arrive back at WHS

You will need to come to school in uniform, and bring a lunch to eat on the buses.  Dinner is provided!

Illinois State University - Jazz Ensemble

The WHS Jazz Ensemble departs Westmont at 3 pm on April 7th for their competition at Illinois State University.  Performance time is 8:30 AM on April 8th.  Students were sent home with an itinerary.  Updates to follow throughout the weekend!

Buses leave WHS at 4 PM sharp.  We should return between 9-9:30

I8 Honor Band Festival

Great day at I8 at Reed-Custer High School!!!  

Representing Westmont in the Jazz Ensemble were Austin Browne, Sam Asa, Brenna Cain, Amanda Rosland, Jack Armstrong, Yannis Wethkamp, and Clayton Reaves.  The concert band had Westmont students Hannah Wilger, Bridgett Sider, Allison Burns, Matt Listwan, and Kayla Weatherly.
